Rodney Runion

Rodney Runion, 65, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Memphis, TN on January 20, 1953 to the late Herman and Leon Scruggs Runion. Rodney will forever be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. Visitation is scheduled for 5 - 8 pm, Tuesday, January 23, 2018 and from 12 Noon until service time Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Rodney's life will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Rick Jones and Dr. Leonard Pratt. Interment will follow in Pisgah Community Cemetery in Hardin County, TN. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Rodney's memory include his wife of 18 years: Kristy Thomas Runion of Corinth, MS; his daughter: Ginger Runion (Mason) of Corinth, MS; his sister: Brenda Paul of Corinth, MS; his grandson: Keldan Dean; his mother-in-law: Janice Thomas of Corinth, MS; his brother and sister-in-law: Heath Thomas (Samantha) of Corinth, MS; his niece: Melissa Nichols (Cory); his nephews: Marshall Smith, Hunter Thomas, and Jarrett Thomas; his great-niece: Chloe Nichols; other relatives and a host of friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his fur baby: Tiny; his nephew: Timmy Smith; and his father-in-law: Rodger Thomas.
