Rodney D. King

A Celebration of Life Service for Rodney D. King, 52 of Corinth, MS, will be Friday, September 15, 2023 at 11:00 A M with Military Honors at Magnolia Funeral Home – South Chapel on Hwy 45 South.  Visitation will be Thursday September 14, 2023 from 5:00  P M to 8:00 P M and Friday, September15, 2023 from 10:00 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – South.  Bro. Tracy Quillian will officiate the service.  Mr. King passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Magnolia Regional Health Center.  He was born April 18, 1971 in Selmer, TN to James Hayward King and Evelyn Faye Shelton King.  He attended Lone Oak Baptist Church and loved riding his prize possession, his Harley.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and shooting pool.  He was an avid coin collector, knife collector and sports card collector.  He loved life and lived it to the fullest.  Rodney is survived by his son, Hunter King; 3 grandchildren, Leigha King, Vincent King and Roseabella King; his mother, Evelyn King; his brother, Harvey King; his sister, Loretta Crum and husband Jamie; his fiancée, Missie Stevens; his half sisters, Wanda Works and husband Johnny Ray, Betty Thacker and Brenda Fooshee; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Hayward King.  Pallbearers will be Staphan Childers, Terry Burcham, Sean Swan, Alex King, Chandler Walker and Brad Cox.  Honorary pallbearers will be Harvey King and Jaime Crum.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Rodney D. King.
