Rodney O'Neal Franks

A Celebration of Life service for Rodney O'Neal Franks, 53 of Corinth is set for Monday, September 9, 2019 at 1:00pm at Glendale Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home and Monday, September 9, 2019 from 12:00pm until service time at Glendale Baptist Church. Rodney was born November 23, 1965 in Corinth and passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019 at his home in Corinth. He was a member of Glendale Baptist Church and a retired factory worker from MS Polymers with 23 years of service. Rodney loved his family and friends and enjoyed serving in his church, collecting ball cards, woodworking and spending time with his granddaughter, Charlie. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Rhonda Franks of Corinth; mother, Jeanette Sumrall of Iuka, MS ; sons, Zack Franks and Bryce Franks both of Corinth; step daughters, Whitney Langston (Ben Nall) of Corinth and Brittany Pate of Muscle Shoals, AL; granddaughter, Charlie Ann Pate; brother, David Franks (Lynn) of Kossuth; special friends, Harold Cornelison and Bro. Tim Edwards; other relatives and a host of friends. Rodney is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Franks. Pallbearers will be Tommy Joe Gray, James Newell. Bro. Tim Edwards, Tyson Harmon, Mike Mann and Melvin Oglesby. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Cornelison and the employees of MS Polymers. Bro. Tim Edwards and Bro. Jon Haimes will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations please be made to help with funeral cost.
