A Celebration of Life service for Robert Gardner, 56 of Corinth, MS, will be Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow at Dogwood Cemetery. Bro. Warren Jones will officiate the service. Visitation will be Friday, April 23, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 1:00 PM until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel. Mr. Gardner passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at his residence. He was born April 7, 1965 in Memphis, TN to Phillip Wayne Gardner and Barbara Ann Johnson Johnsey. He was of the Baptist faith. Robert is survived by his mother, Barbara Johnsey of Corinth, MS; brothers, Jimmy Gardner (Tammy) of Hardy, AR and Vincent Johnsey (Randi) of Corinth, MS; his sister, Lisa Derrick (Phillip) of Corinth, MS; his aunt, Linda Thaxton of Blue Springs, MS; his nieces, Taylor Hanley (Clark), Hadlee Johnsey and Lynden Johnsey; his cousin, Thomas Thaxton of Blue Springs, MS, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Wayne Gardner; his maternal grandparents, Quitman and Vergie Johnson and his paternal grandparents, Edward Lee and Betty Gardner. Pallbearers will be Phillip Derrick, Ricky Evans, Michael Jones, Luc Wilbanks, Joe Eppes and Jerimeh Roach.
