Funeral services for Robert H. Farmer, 64 of Rienzi, MS. is set for Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 2:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial in Vanderford Cemetery w/Military Honors. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 11, 2018 from 12:00pm until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Born August 7, 1953 in Hazelhurst, MS., Robert passed away on July 30, 2018 in Rienzi, MS. He was a retired farmer and a U. S. Airforce veteran. Robert was of the Baptist Faith and attended Harmony Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 47 years: Wanda Farmer of Rienzi, MS; mother: Mary Farmer of Crystal Springs, MS; sons: Robert “Scoot” Farmer and wife Kerry of Tiplersville, MS ; James Farmer and wife Ashley of Rienzi, MS; daughter: Amy Roden of Rienzi, MS; 10 grandchildren: Savanna Beams and husband Matt, Amber Henry, Jacob Roden, Kolby Farmer, Marissa Kurts and husband Camden, Karley Farmer,Brandon Harkins, Alyssa Farmer, Kinleigh Farmer and Layna Farmer; 7 great-grandchildren: Summer Beams, James Beams, Bethany Beams, Evin Henry, Briley Henry, Emersyn Kurts, and Sadie Roden; brother: Charles Farmer and wife Bonnie of Florida; sisters: Libby Bryant and husband Calvin of Byrum, MS; Patricia Roberts and husband Larry of Crystal Springs, MS; Linda White of Crystal Springs, MS ; Lisa Morgan and husband Roger of Crystal Springs, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Robert is preceded in death by his grandson, Gavin Farmer; great granddaughter, Faith Beams; father, Henry Farmer and brother, Tommy Farmer. Rev. Tony Boothe will officiate the service.
