Rickey Dale Rogers

A Celebration of Life Service for Rickey Dale Rogers, 60 of Rienzi, MS, will be Sunday, March 28, 2021 at 2:30 P M at Hinkle Baptist Church with interment to follow at Hinkle Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Donald Scully and Bro. Rabon Richardson will officiate the service. Visitation will be Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 12:30 P M until service time at Hinkle Baptist Church. Mr. Rogers passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at his residence. He was born November 9, 1960 to James A. “Doc” Rogers and Sue Patterson Rogers. He was a self employed carpenter and of the Baptist faith. Rickey is survived by his wife of 41 years Kay Ballard Rogers of Rienzi, MS; his sons, Rodney Dale Rogers (Heidi) of Russellville, AL and Robert Rogers (Erica) of Corinth, Ms; his daughters, Tasha Horton (Scott) of Burnsville, MS, Tabatha Austin (Phillip) of Rienzi, MS and Trina Thomas of Rienzi, MS; 14 grandchildren, Rylee Rogers, Ruby Rogers, Peyton Boyd, Katie Horton, Matt Horton, Kelsey Horton, Andrea Austin, Abigail Austin, Addison Austin, Seth Rogers, Andrew Rogers, Landon Thomas, Emmalyn Thomas and Olivia Thomas; his brother, Larry Rogers of Corinth, MS; his sisters, Patricia Smith (J.D.) of Bartlett, TN, Joyce Crow of Kossuth, MS, Sheila McMahan of Ramer, TN and Deborah Tannery (Don) of Dunnellon, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Andy Rogers; his daughter, Tiffany Rogers; his grandson, Ethan Scott Rogers; his father, James A. “Doc” Rogers; his mother, Sue Patterson Rogers and his sister, Lynette Crow. Pallbearers will be Rylee Rogers, Matt Horton, Jeremy Barton, Jason Ballard, Phillip Austin and Scott Horton. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Kennedy, David Franks, Wendell Howard, David Latch and Bobby Smith. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Rickey Dale Rogers.
