Richard Peacock

Richard Peacock, 62 of Rienzi, MS, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020 at his residence. A graveside service was held Friday, July 3, 2020 at 2:00 P M at Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Peacock was born December 12, 1957 in Hattiesburg, MS to George Washington Peacock and Daisy Mansley Peacock. He was a union electrician with IBEW Local 903 and was a member of Union Baptist Church. Richard is survived by his wife, Morgan Peacock of Rienzi, MS; his daughter, Marie Peacock George (Carey) of Hernando, MS; 3 grandchildren, Warren Engdahl, Xander Wambo and Owen Wambo; his brothers, George Peacock of Richton, MS and A.J. Peacock of Richton, MS; his sisters, Judy White of Columbia, MS, Ethel Smith (Ralph) of Richton, MS, Pearl Newcomb (David) of Waynesboro, MS, Kathy Davis (Lance) of Columbia, MS and Jullia Stringfellow (John) of Petal, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lacreta Frances Peacock; his father, George Washington Peacock and his mother, Daisy Mansley Peacock. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Richard Peacock.
