Richard Luther

Funeral services for Richard K. Luther, 70 of Corinth are set for Friday, April 29, 2022 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST with interment in Dogwood Cemetery. Bro. Bruce Ingram and Bro Joe Marsh will officiate the service. Visitation will be Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 5pm-8pm and Friday, April 29, 2022 from  1pm until service time. Pallbearers will be Jerry Whirley, Matt Luther, Joe Hinton, Ben Luther, Mike Barnes and Bob Sweeney. Born June 4, 1951 in Fayette , Alabama, Richard passed away on April 25, 2022 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was a retired equipment operator for TVA and of the Christian faith. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed fishing, watching old westerns, NASCAR and working on things and fixing them. Richard is survived by his sons, Matt Luther (Skye) and Jerry Whirley (Pam); 5 grandchildren, Kristen Whirley, Jordan Huff, Haley Burcham, Jacob Huff and Tate Null; fiancée, Peggy Wheeler ; brothers, Aaron Luther (Denise) and Joe Hinton (Pam); sister, Dorris Henderson; numerous nieces, nephews,  other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Luther; father, Fred Jenkins ; mother, Biddie Jenkins; brothers, Jack Luther, Theron Luther, Morris Luther and Robert Luther; and his sister, Carolyn Kiddy.
