Rebecca Ann Cornelius

Rebecca Ann Cornelius, 69, of Cordova, TN, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. She was born in Alcorn County, MS on November 5, 1946 to the late Gilbert and Birdie Busby Vandiver. Rebecca was a member of Highland Street Church of Christ in Cordova and worked for many years as a sales manager in advertising. A memorial gathering of family and friends will be from 4 pm till service time Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with services scheduled at 6 PM, officiated by Brad Dillingham. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Rebecca's memory include her sons: Travis Neal Cornelius Jr. and wife Letitia of Plantersville, MS and John Alvin Cornelius and wife April of Bartlett, TN; 4 grandchildren: Christine Cornelius, Catherine Cornelius, Aslin Cornelius and Ruslan Cornelius; 1 great-grandson: Guy Edward Cornelius; a brother: Iver Vandiver of Corinth, MS; a niece, 3 nephews, other relatives and many friends.
