Raymond Massengill

Raymond Massengill passed away Monday, November 1, 2010 at his residence at the age of 97. He was born June 25, 1913 in Jacinto, Ms to the Late John & Della Massengill. He was a self employed farmer , sawmill owner and bull-dozer operator.He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and he was a member of Rienzi Baptist Church He is Survived by his Sons: Dwight Massengill & wife Rita – Rienzi, MS; Ben Massengill & wife Nellie – Glen, MS Daughters: Mary Lowrey – Corinth, MS; Wanda Christian – Rienzi, MS; Myra Strom & husband Ron – Corinth, MS Grandchildren(9): Will Lowrey & wife Jennifer, Mark Lowrey, John Lowrey, Brett Christian, Kim Kirkland & husband Seth, Kasey Brown & husband Steven, Kayla Massengill, Steven Strom, Bradley Strom Great Grandchildren(7): Jillanna Simmons, Haylee Lowery, Allie Grace Kirkland, Eli Kirkland, Kensley Brown, Teegan Brown, Ty Brown Sisters: Faye Eldridge – Rienzi, MS; Reba Crowe – Kossuth, MS; Maxine Martin Paden, MS Sister-in-law: Christine Massengill Brother-in-law: Laurence Gallaher Father’s of his grandchildren: Danny Lowrey & Bobby Christian Caregivers: Daughter-in-law, Rita Massengill, Jane Brooks & the staff of Legacy Hospice.
