Ray C Langston

A graveside service for Ray C. Langston, 86, of Rienzi, MS, is set for 11:30 AM, Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at Kemps Chapel Cemetery with interment in Kemps Chapel Cemetery. Ray passed away on July 11, 2020 at Tishomingo Community Living Center in Iuka, MS. He was born May 10, 1934, in Alcorn County, MS, to the late Lesley “Les” and Laura Mae Inman Langston. Ray retired from Intex Plastics after 34 years, was of the Baptist faith and a member of Rienzi Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping, traveling, and woodworking. Those left to honor his memory include his wife of 65 years: Thelma Langston of Rienzi, MS; son: Greg Langston and wife Robin of New Albany, MS; 6 grandchildren: Amy Langston, Justin Wilburn and wife Lauren, Whitney Nall and husband Ben, Brittany Pate, Lauren Adair and husband Ryan, and Cole Martin and wife Marianna; 3 great-grandchildren: Destiny Wilburn, Alissa Wilburn, and Charlie Ann Pate; sisters: Ilene Cooksey and husband Charles of Corinth, MS, and Shelia Hales of Corinth, MS; other relatives and a host of friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Rhonda Martin; son: Donnie Langston; grandson: Josh Langston; brothers: Jack Langston, Aaron Langston, and Duley Langston; sisters: Eva Cartwright, Janice Cox, Irene Johnson, and Betty Brooks. Bro. Charlie Cooper and Harold Palmer will be officiating the service. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Ray Langston.
