Randall Leon Jowers, 58, of Corinth, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. Randy was born July 30, 1958 in Berwyn, IL to Rita Sellers Jowers and the late Albert Leon Jowers. He was a respiratory therapist for 23 years, an avid deer hunter, and loved to play golf with his buddies. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and papaw! A celebration of Randy's life is set for 1:00pm Monday, October 17, 2016 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Monday, October 17, 2016 from 12:00 noon until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Bro. Warren Jones will officiate the services. Those left to honor Randy's memory include his wife of 18 years, Sonya Wilson Jowers of Corinth, two daughters, Brooke Shadburn ( Russ) and Megan Box (Tyler) both of Corinth; four grandsons, Mason Shadburn, Eli Shadburn, Benton Box, and John Archer Box; his mother, Rita Sellers Jowers of Corinth; and sister, Deanna Worley (Ray) of Corinth. Serving as pallbearers will be Wally Elliott, Chad Marlar, Dr. George Cain, Ray Worley, Johnny Crotts, and Johnny Box. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Jim Jackson, Indiana Hunting Buddies, Thursday Night Card Buddies. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Albert Leon Jowers.
