R.J. Mullins

R. J. Mullins, 68 of Corinth MS, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Baptist Hospital Desoto. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Mr. Mullins was born February 16, 1953 in Knoxville, TN to Hurley Mullins, Jr. and Myrna Perona Mullins. He was employed by the Cook County Sheriff’s Department as Sheriff Deputy and was of the Catholic faith. He loved watching Chicago sports, westerns, traveling, going to antique car shows, historical museums and bowling. R. J. is survived by his wife of 31 ½ years, Shannon Mullins of Corinth, MS; his daughters, Dawn Albanese, Nicole Albanese and Abagail Kate Shelton (Grant); 1 grandchild, Rorie Weidell; his brother, Andy Albanese (Sue); his sister, Gay Maschieri; his mother-in-law, Kathy Houck; his cousin, Joy Reach; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Ann Albanese; his father, Hurley Mullins; his mother, Myrna Perona Mullins and his brother, Thomas Albanese.
