Mr. Price “Pud” Turner,91, went to his heavenly home on Monday, August 6, 2018. He was born on March 30, 1927, and was a lifelong resident of Corinth, MS. Mr. Pud was a kind and generous man who never met a stranger and treated all people with the same courtesy and respect. There will be a Celebration of Life Service held on Friday, August 10, 2018, at 10:00 A.M. at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Bro. Philip Caples will officiate the service and burial will follow at Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 9, 2018, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday, August 10, 2018, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Mr. Pud was self-employed for 70 years as a Used Car Dealer. He was of the Baptist Faith and a lifelong member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He attended Gift Elementary School and Alcorn Agriculture High School. He enjoyed working in his garden, playing on his tractor, watching westerns and detailing his cars. He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and a Shriner. He was a member of Corinth Lodge 116. Pallbearers: Clint Turner, Ben Turner, Jimbo Ross, and Brandon Rorie. Honorary Pallbearers: Leonard Hopkins, Jerry Grimes, Fred Lancaster, Chad Johnsey, Tim Phillips, Aundre Turner, David Turner, Joe Turner, Johnnie Turner, and Wayne Wilson. He is survived by his Son: Richard “Rickey” Turner and Wife Linda of Corinth, MS; Daughters: Sherri Bates and Husband H.C. of Corinth, MS and Debbi Turner of Corinth, MS; Four Grandchildren: Clint Turner, Ben Turner and Wife Suzanne, Whitney Turner, and Amber Ross and Husband Jimbo; Two Great-Grandchildren; Harlie Ross and Gracen Turner; Brother: Clayton Turner and Wife Hermie of Corinth, MS; Sister-In-Law: Peggy Lancaster of Rienzi, MS; along with other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his Wife of 44 Years: Una Johnsey Turner; Father: Frank Turner; Mother: Sallie Nelms Turner; Brothers: Leo Turner, Benton Turner, Flavers Turner, and Hillie Turner; Sisters: Lilly Franks, Lelar Lawson, Lois Briesacher, Ella Grimes, Bessie Rickman, Velma Duckworth, and Irene Turner. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Price "Pud" Turner.
