Graveside service for Pinkie Miles Guynes, 103 of Rienzi, MS is set for Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Brush Creek Cemetery. Born August 1, 1916, in Alcorn County, MS, Pinkie passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at Landmark Nursing Home in Booneville, MS. She was a homemaker, who loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them, working in her garden, cooking, and quilting. Pinkie was of the Methodist faith and a member of Mount Pleasant Methodist Church. She is survived by her son, Gerald Guynes of Walnut, MS; daughter, Dorothy Arnold of Rienzi, MS; 3 granddaughters, Lori Maddox and husband Phil, Laura Cromwell and husband James and Leann Jones and husband Tim; 4 great-grandchildren, Addie Jones, Annika Jones, Delaney Cromwell, Channing Hopkins and wife Lindsey;
2 great-great-grandchildren; special niece, Elaine Presley; daughter-in-law, Rayetta Wollard; other relatives and a host of friends. Pinkie was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Guynes; son-in-law, Olen Arnold;
father, John Miles; mother, Dovie Medford Miles; brother, Abram Miles and
sister, Idell Follin and husband Roy. Honorary Pallbearers will be Junior Crum, Jerry Talley, Jimmy Tate Waldon, Harold Wilbanks, Donnie Guynes, Frankie Guynes, and Paul Mills. Bro.
