Phil Bingham

A Celebration of Life service for James Phil Bingham, 73 of Corinth, MS will be Thursday, April 28, 2022 at  2:00 P M Magnolia Funeral Home- East Chapel with interment to follow at Fraley’s Chapel Christ of Church Cemetery.  Minister John Vines will officiate the service.  Visitation will be Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 12:00 noon until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East.  Mr. Bingham passed away Monday, April 25, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.  He was born April 1, 1949 in Corinth, MS to Kenneth Julian Bingham and Jessie Delois Hamilton Bingham.  He was a special education teacher and a member of Fraley’s Chapel Church of Christ.  He loved watching basketball, NASCAR and westerns.  He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.  Phil is survived by his son, Allen Johnson; 2 grandchildren, Katey Irvin (Josh) and Mark Johnson; 1 great grandchild, Amelia Irvin; his sister, Robbie Kennedy; his sister-in-law, Judy Bingham; his niece, Angie Payne; his nephew, Casey Bingham (Kate); 4 great nephews, Bradlee Bingham, Boone Bingham, Gavin Fullwood and Jase Payne; other relatives and a host of friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Neal Bingham, Brad Bingham and Kenneth “Kit” Bingham and his brother-in-law, Bill Kennedy.  Pallbearers will be Jimmy Bingham, Shad Bronson, Eugene Holland, Bobby Simmons, Randy Sumler and Phil Young.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Phil Bingham.
