Peggy Wicker Rosier, 71, of Childers Hill, TN, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. She was born in McNairy County, TN on June 25, 1945 to the late Troy and Gladys Davis Wicker. Peggy was a lady of great devotion. Her devotion extended to everything she loved. Her husband, children, and grandchildren all attest to this. Peggy loved her Lord and spent much time reading His Word. She loved traveling, motorcycling and camping. Her devotion included her Chicago Cubs, Tennessee Volunteers and NASCAR. Her life was as full as her heart. Her final battle was her biggest but was fought with dignity and class to the very end. Peggy was loved as deeply as she loved, and the world is richer for her being here. She will be forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends. Visitation is scheduled from 5-9 PM Tuesday February 7, 2017 at Childers Hill Pentecostal Church. A celebration of Peggy's life will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Childers Hill Pentecostal Church, officiated by Bro. Paul Childers. Interment will follow in Pisgah Cemetery. Pallbearers include Matthew Wilkerson, Brian Dixon, Paul Ernst, Willis Winters, Ken Hannah, and Richard Childers. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Peggy's memory include her husband: David E. Rosier of Childers Hill, TN; her daughters: Vicky Wilkerson and husband Terry of Childers Hill, TN and Kimberly Dickerson and husband Jimbo of Michie, TN; her step-daughter: Brandi-Lynn Bailey and husband Kenneth of Long Island, NY; her grandchildren: Melody Dixon and husband Brian, Matthew Wilkerson, Kendall Dickerson, Chloe Dickerson, Tiffany Dickerson and Alyssa Bailey; her great-grandchildren: Mattie Brown and Warren Dixon; her sisters: Frances Phillips of Adamsville, TN and Angela Jerrolds and husband John of Indianapolis, IN; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son: Warren Gene "Buddy" McCain; and by her brothers: Troy Wicker Jr., Arlie Wicker and James "Boe" Wicker.
