Peggy Prince, 73, of Tishomingo, MS passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Dogwood Plantation in Corinth. She was born in Memphis, TN on November 19, 1944 to the late Jim and Connie Scott Cannon and graduated from Kingsbury High School. Peggy was a beloved member of Oakland Baptist Church where she served as the church librarian for many years. She was an amazing seamstress, and loved cooking for her family. She cared for her grandchildren before they started to school. They were her joy and delight. Peggy will forever be remembered in the hearts of her family and friends. Visitation is scheduled for 5 - 8 pm, Thursday, November 23, 2017 and from 10 am till service time Friday, November 24, 2017 at Oakland Baptist Church. A celebration of Peggy's life will be held at 11 AM Friday, November 24, 2017 at Oakland Baptist Church officiated by Bro. Dyar Harbor and Dr. Randy Bostick. Family will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Peggy's memory include her husband of 57 years: Wayne Prince of Tishomingo, MS; her son: Johnny Prince and wife Beverly of Tishomingo, MS; her daughter: Rhonda Puckett and husband Michael of Iuka, MS; her precious grandchildren: Ethan Prince (Sydney), Kaitlyn Prince (Zach Pickle), Carlee Harrison (Josh), and Eli Puckett; her brother: Jimmy Cannon of Milan, TN; other relatives and a host of friends.
