Peggy Doris Dixon

A Celebration of Life service for Peggy Doris Dixon, 81 of Corinth, MS, will be Friday, September 28, 2018 at 3:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow at Tuscumbia Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Rodney Whittemore will officiate the service. Visitation will be Friday, September 28, 2018 from 1:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mrs. Dixon passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born November 2, 1936 in McNairy County, TN to Lloyd Vaughn and Martha Russell Vaughn. She was a factory worker/homemaker and was a member of Tuscumbia Baptist Church. Peggy is survived by her son, Frank T. Dalton of Corinth, MS; her daughters, Rhonda Pickens (Roger) of Stantonville, TN, Cynthia King (Jerry Lee) of Selmer, TN and Tammy McCalister (Stanley) of Selmer, TN; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Mac Vaughn (Gail) of Middleton, TN, Arnie Vaughn of Ramer, TN, Reece Vaughn (Dorothy) of Ramer, TN and David Vaughn of Pocahontas, TN; her sisters, Ann Knight of Pocahontas, TN, Gloria Moore (Kenneth) of Selmer, TN, Debbie Kirk (Terry) of Selmer, TN and Judy Hopper (James) of Pocahontas, TN; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Dixon; her daughter, Kimberly Dixon; her father, Lloyd Vaughn; her mother, Martha Russell Vaughn and her brother, James Vaughn.
