Funeral services Peggy Jean Carmack, 64 of Corinth are set for Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 2:30 pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - South on HWY 45 South with interment in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 12:30pm-2:30pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - South on HWY 45 South. Bro. Tracy Stafford will officiate the service with Michael Lancaster delivering the eulogy. Pallbearers will be Bo Winters, Hunter Lancaster, Brad Butler and Bruce Reaves. Born December 24, 1958 in Corinth, MS., Peggy passed from this life on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at her home in Corinth. Peggy was a retired dispatcher for Booneville, MS 911. She is a member of First Baptist Church of Tupelo. Peggy loved her family and spending time with them especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching Gunsmoke and Mashal Dillion, going to casinos, spending time at home and drinking her sweet tea. Peggy is survived by her husband of 38 years, Rick Carmack; sons. Michael Lancaster (Heather) and Scott Lancaster; 9 grandchildren, Hunter Lancaster, Michayla Winters (Bo), Taylor Mitchell, Austin Brown, Bryson Mitchell, Hunter Mitchell, Keller Lancaster, Vera Samples and Knox Lancaster; her daughter-in-law, Brandy Lancaster; sister, Linda Cardwell (Sammy); the father of her children, Charles Lancaster; other relatives and a host of friends. She preceded in death by her father, Herschel Miller; mother, Vera Spencer Miller and her sister, Patricia Wallace.
