Funeral services for Paula J. Bethany, 78, of Corinth are set for Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – SOUTH on Hwy 45 South with interment in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 5pm-8pm and Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 1pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – SOUTH. Bro. Scott Bridges will officiate the service and Cheryl Maricle will deliver the Eulogy. Pallbearers will be Dylan Maricle, Paul Maricle, Ricky Fuller, Michael Sherman, Cody Sherman and Justin Calkins. Born February 18, 1945 in Memphis, TN, Paula passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023 at her home. She was a retired factory worker and a member of Unity Baptist Church. Paula loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed camping, fishing, going to church and church activities and she loved the Lord. Those left behind to cherish Paula’s memory include her daughter, Cheryl Maricle (Anthony); sons, Troy Sherman (Anita) and Michael Sherman (Lorna); 16 grandchildren, Brandi Calkins (Justin), Ricky Fuller (Tashia Welch), Dylan Maricle (Charity), Paul Maricle (Alexis), Traci Domingo (Michael), Lindsey Sweet (Jasper), Cody Sherman, Joshua Sherman, Amanda Warren, Michael Sherman II (Blaire), Justin Sherman (Brittany), Jillian Sherman, Christy Cherry (Tommy), Jael Rivizzino, Josiah Rivizzino and Jeremiah Rivizzino (Tylor); 20+ great grandchildren, Blakely, Hazel, Harli, Kristina, Aiden, Tyler, Anastyn, Audry, Liam, River, Carter, M. J., Emma, Leighanna, Rylan, J. J., Abigail, Skyler, Karli, Bristol and arriving Sept. 2023, Grady Lee; brother, Michael Dent; sisters, Glenda Avery (Kelley) and Debbie Sullivan (Brooks); aunt, Kay Walters (Curtis); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bethany; father, V. H. Dent and mother, Dorthia Dent. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Paula J. Bethany.
