Opal Rogers Cook Bumpas

Opal Rogers Cook Bumpas, age 86, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Friday, December 2, 2011, at Hospice House of Rutherford County. A native of Alcorn County, MS, she was the daughter of the late E.C. Rogers and the late Lessie Dillingham Rogers. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by; Two Daughters: Jo Cook Ezekiel, Rutherfordton, NC Gloria Cook Shehan, Rutherfordton, NC One Son: Raymond Cook, Spindale, NC One Sister: Bernice Kyle, Corinth, MS Seven Grand Children Fourteen Great-Grand Children Two Great-Great-Grand Children The family will recieve friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, December 3, 2011 at McMahan's Funeral Home in North Carolina. Mrs. Bumpas will be sent to Magnolia Funeral Home in Corinth, MS for services and will be intered in the Oaks Hill Cemetery in Corinth, MS.
