Nellie Mary Welch Shinaberry

Nellie Mary Welch Shinaberry, 85, of Rienzi, MS went home to be with her Savior Sunday, December 1, 2013 at her granddaughter’ home. She was a loving, Godly Mother and Grandmother that gave unselfishly to all her family. She was a member of Union Baptist Church and a retired factory worker with ITT Corporation. Mrs. Shinaberry’s hobbies were sewing, reading and crocheting. She is survived by her three daughters, Cathy Ann Davis and her husband Wayne of Rienzi, MS., Brenda Owens and her husband Steve of Bixby, OK., and Darla Nash and her husband Philip of Corinth, MS., 14 grandchildren, and 31 great grandchildren,other relatives and a host o friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years Rev. Francis Lewis Shinaberry, a son, Michael Lewis Shinaberry, her parents, Ralph and Olive Welch, three brothers, William Welch, Fred Welch and John Welch, and two sisters, Margaret Cook and Olive Frantz. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 4:00 P M at Union Baptist Church with Bro. Raybon Richardson and Bro. David Robbins officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 3:00 P M until service time. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Davis, Steve Owens, David DeMattio and Philip Nash. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Relay For Life, payable to American Cancer Society, in care of Lori Moore at BanCorpSouth or Oasis Medical Center, P. O. Box 26, Corinth, MS 38835. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to provide the final arrangements for Nellie Mary Welch Shinaberry.
