Nelda Mincy Street

Nelda Mincy Street, 83, of Southaven, MS passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Desoto on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. She was born in Corinth, MS on September 6, 1938 to the late Frank and Doreen Maness Mincy and was a homemaker. Nelda was a member of Carriage Hills Baptist Church and will forever be remembered in the hearts of her family and friends. Magnolia Funeral Home – 72 East of Corinth is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 12-2 pm Friday, December 10, 2021at Magnolia Funeral Home – 72 East. A Celebration of Nelda’s life will be held at 2 pm Friday, December 10, 2021 at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel officiated by her grandson, Cliff Street. Pallbearers include Timmy Street, Andy Marston, Adam Marston, Reed Richardson, Trevor Hall, and Keith Ables. Interment will follow in Campground Methodist Church Cemetery of Walnut. Those left to honor Nelda’s memory include her sons, Tim Street (Donna Richardson) and Dean Street (Karen); her daughter, Sandy Bruckman (Jerry); 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Bernice Mincy, Kathy Mincy, Donna Mincy, and Linda Mincy; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents, Nelda was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wayne Street; her brothers, Billy Mincy, Bob Mincy, Mickey Mincy, Ed Mincy, and Terry Mincy; and her sister, Lila Lentz.
