Nelda Joyce Hutson

A Celebration of Life service for Nelda Joyce Hutson, 71 of Corinth, MS will be Monday, September 17, 2018 at 11:00 A M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow at Corinth National Cemetery. Bro. Bobby McCord and Bro. James Voyles will officiate the service. Mrs. Hutson passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS. She was born June 25, 1947 in Alcorn County, MS to Emmitt and Dora Malone Robertson. Nelda Joyce is survived by her husband of 56 years, Charles E. Hutson of Corinth, MS; her sons Eddy Hutson (Amy) of Selmer, TN and Steven Hutson (Leta) of Corinth, MS: her daughter, Lisa McCord (Bobby) of Decaturville, TN; eight grandchildren, Alexandria (Alex) Hutson Kelsey Hutson, Amber Hutson, Hunter Hutson, Hannah Hutson, Haylee Hutson, Kimberly (McCord) Waldrop and Bobby Charles McCord; three great-Grandchildren,Isaac Nathaniel Waldrop, Ruby Mae Waldrop and Madison Benjamin Waldrop; her brother, Billy Robertson of Corinth, MS; her sisters, Lois Glidwell (Darnell) of Corinth, MS, Faye Dixon (Bill) of Corinth, MS, Betty Glidewell (Johnny) of Selmer, TN and Christine Forsythe of Corinth, MS; sisters-in-law, Billie Jean Robertson of Central City, KY and Connie Robertson of Nashville, TN: several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Emmitt Robertson; her mother, Dora Malone Robertson; her brothers, Benny Robertson, Audrey Robertson and Jimmy Robertson; her sisters, Viola Mask and Margie Essary; and her sister-in-law, Gail (Phillips) Robertson. Pallbearers will be James Voyles, Tony Orlando, Mike Hutson, Wade Gifford, Michael Bright, Paul Dixon and Ricky Hutson. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Nelda Joyce Hutson. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 1800 W.
