Nelda Gunn Barnes

Nelda Gunn Barnes, 69, of Corinth, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born in Walnut, MS on December 17, 1946 to the late Sewell and Zevie Eubanks Gunn. She was a retired operations manager with Intex Plastics having 36 years of service and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Walnut, MS. There is no visitation or services planned. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Nelda's memory include her brother: Sewell Wayne Gunn and wife Debbie of Waynesboro, TN; two sisters: Lena Voyles of Ripley, MS and Shelly Lynn Stanley and husband Terry of Belmont, MS; two step sons: Jerry Barnes of Corinth, MS and Terry Barnes of Tishomingo, MS: a step daughter: Kathy McMeans of Counce, TN; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
