Nancy Carolyn Roberts, 72, of Corinth, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born October 6, 1944 to the late John Alton Teague and Irene Swain Wolfe in Ramer, TN. Nancy was a homemaker for her family but also worked as caretaker for children and adults. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, arts and crafts and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Roberts was a member of Ramer Baptist Church. A celebration of Nancy's life is scheduled for 11:30am Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow in Corinth National Cemetery. Bro. Nathan Dixon will officiate the service. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 5pm -9pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the funeral home. Those left to hold Nancy's memory include her husband of 19 years, John Roberts; three sons, William Childress of Savannah, TN; Johnny Childress (Wendolyn) of Corinth; Anthony Childress of Ramer, TN; two daughters, Carla D. Rutland (Jeff) of Boguechitto, MS; Melissa Williams of Laurel, MS; ten grandchildren, Amber Childress, Jonathan Childress, Heather Rose, John Austin Childress, Nicholas Keith Childress, Powell Carnes, Thomas Lukens, Haley Williams, Gene Williams, Ann Williams; five great-grandchildren, Mason Jackson Campbell, Jonathan Cash Childress, Aiden Zachariah Kaeser, Peyton Dale Austin, Presley Jo Austin; two brothers, Andrew Teague (Annette) of Memphis, TN; Larry Wayne Teague (Ruth) of Guys, TN; three sisters, Louise Fullwood (Joe) of Ramer, TN; Judy Armstrong (Eddie) of Nashville, TN; Sarah Howell (Roger) of Columbus, MS; sister-in-law, Mary Teague, Mary E. Denning and Linda L. Wright; other relatives and host of friends. Those who preceded her in death include her parents; brothers, Joe Nell Teague and Danny Teague; and her sister, Polly Higginbottom. Serving as pallbearers will be Nicholas Keith Childress, John Austin Childress, Richard Clingen and Tim Kitchens. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Nancy Roberts.
