Funeral services for Misty Maddox Iyengar, 43, of Marietta, GA. , are set for Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST with interment in Henry Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, June 12, 2023 from 5pm-7pm and Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 1pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. Bro. Kim Ratliff will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Tanner Garcia, Bryson Garcia, Chico Garcia, Justin Glissen, Logan Caldwell and Ben Albarracin. Honorary pallbearers will be Arvind Krishna, Josh Bascomb, Allen Wooten, David Lancaster and Chief of Police, Landon Tucker.  Born September 25, 1979 in Corinth, MS., Misty passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Misty loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved being a boy mom and taking care of her dogs, Maggie and Miller. Misty enjoyed art, traveling, cooking, rehabbing houses and listening to all kinds of music. She was adventurous and spontaneous. She had an enthusiastic passion for sneakers. Those left to cherish Misty's memories include her husband, Arun Iyengar; sons, Maddox Iyengar and Maverick Iyengar; her mother, Debbie Garcia and husband "Chico"; sisters, Allie Glissen and husband Justin and Shauna Potts Hill; brothers, Chris Maddox and wife Hannah and Bryson Garcia; nephews and nieces, Obie Glissen, Ollie Glissen, Tanner Garcia, Paisley Bascomb, Brynley Garcia, Aryan Pai and Sanjana Pai; her in-laws, Anil and Sudha Iyengar; sister-in-law, Sangida Pai and husband Sameer; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Wayne Maddox; paternal grandparents, Paul and Dottie Maddox and her maternal grandparents, Sue and Wayne Huff.
