Milton "Decus" Huggins

Graveside services with Military Honors for Milton "Decus" Huggins, 79 of Stantonville, TN are set for Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 11am at Stantonville Cemetery. Rev. Alvin Jones will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Hunter McMillen, Wesley Rainey, Riley Johnson, John Sims, Jacob Jones and Brandon Brown. Born July 14, 1944 in Michie, TN., Mr. Huggins passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He was a retired engineer for Kansas City Southern Railroad and various other railroad companies for 35 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Milton loved being outside, taking care of his family, working and helping others. He also Pastored several churches in the surrounding area. He was always a man of his word. He was a member of People's Tabernacle in Savannah, TN.  Those left to cherish Milton's memory include his wife of 59 years, Peggy Huggins; son, Greg Huggins; daughter, April James and husband Dee; 2 grandchildren, Hunter McMillen and Evan James; sisters, Nettie Robertson, Nona Franks, Aquilla Killingsworth and Penny Presley and husband Rick; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his son, David Lee Huggins; father, Arthur Lee Huggins; mother, Ida Mae Killingsworth Huggins, brothers, J. W. Huggins and Joe Dan Huggins; and a sister, Mary McLemore. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Milton "Decus" Huggins.
