Funeral services for Mildred Evone Box Lindsey, 78, of Corinth, MS are set for Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 2:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Hill Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, November 25, 2016 from 5:00pm-8:00pm and Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 1:00pm until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Lindsey was born May 30, 1938 in Alcorn County, MS. She was a retired cook at several different restaurants including the Country Kitchen. Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Lindsey of Corinth, Kevin "Butch" Lindsey Clemons of Rienzi and Mike Lindsey (Cindy) of Rienzi; daughter, Kay Castile (Kenneth "K.C.") of Corinth; 8 grandchildren, Jason Spencer (Jami), Jessica Marsh (Dustin), Josh Lindsey, Michael Paul Lindsey (Brandy), Daniel Lindsey, Brandon Clemons (Sam), Eric Ferris, Harley Ferris; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Ray Box and James Box (Jan) all of Corinth; Sisters, Esther Box Lindsey (Johnnie), Vesta Box Hudson and Jean Box Davis (Bobby) all of Rienzi; friend, John Oates - Corinth; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Mildred is preceded in death by her son, Danny Ray Lindsey; daughter, Janet Annette Lindsey; father, Vestle Box; mother, Velma Kilpatrick Box , sisters, Loise Jones and Debra Bobo ; and a special friend, Buddy Bayne. Pallbearers will be her family. Bro. Trent Nethery and Bro. Warren Jones will officiate the service.
