Mickey Calvary

James Robert “Mickey” Calvary, 88 of Corinth, MS, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022 at his residence in Corinth, MS.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  Mr. Calvary was born February 26, 1934 in Rienzi, MS to J.B. Calvary and Lucille Palmer Calvary.  He was of the Baptist faith and was a farmer.  He loved collecting tools and farm equipment and farming.  He could identify every species of tree on his property.  Mickey is survived by his sons, Robert W. Calvary and Bert Calvary and his wife Towana; his daughter, Mary J. Clayton and husband Larry; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; his brother, Gene Calvary; his sister, JoAnn McDonald; caregiver, Shelia Smith and husband Larry; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.  He was preceded in death by his son, Samuel R. Calvary; his father, J.B. Calvary; his mother, Lucille Palmer Calvary and his brother, Steve Calvary.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. James Robert “Mickey” Calvary.
