Michael McKinley "Ken" Wood

A Celebration of Life service for Ken Wood, 63 of Glen MS, will be Sunday July 31, 2022 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home East Chapel with Masonic Rites.  Bro. Jeff Shaw and Rev. James Archambeault will officiate the service with interment to follow at Center Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 1:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East.  Mr. Wood passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at his residence.  He was born March 31, 1959 in Corinth, MS to Bill Wood and Alma Strickland Wood.  He retired after 32 years as a process expert at Kimberly Clark.  He was a member of Holly Springs Church of Christ and graduated in 1977 from Biggersville High School.  Ken was a Master Mason with the Corinth Lodge # 16 and enjoyed tinkering on Corvettes and was a collector of many things.  He loved his children, grandchildren and his fur babies , Woffie Dog, Prince and Spooky. Ken is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sandra Wood, his daughter, Brittney Hurst; 4 grandchildren, Braden Pittman, Bailey Pittman, Braxton Pittman and Reno Pittman; his brother, Randy Wood (Jeanette); his sister-in-law, Jennifer Wood; nieces and nephews, Camille Roseberry (Marvin), D.J. Wiley (Savannah), Chris Malone, Cody Malone (Natasha) and Steven Beckner; other relatives and a host of friends.  He was preceded in death by his son, Dustin Wood; his father, Bill Wood; his mother, Alma Strickland Wood; and his brother, Donnie Wood.  Pallbearers will be Chris Malone, Cody Malone, Eddie Wood, Kenneth Bishop, Joe Sanders, Edwin Meeks and Dennis Crider.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Ken Wood.
