Michael "Mike" Cass

A Celebration of Life service for Michael "Mike" Cass, 73 of Counce, TN will be held Friday, June 22, 2018 at 4:00 P M at First Baptist Church of Counce, TN. Interment will follow at White Sulpuhr Cemetery with full military honors. Bro. Jimmie McChristial will officiate the service. Visitation will be Friday, June 22, 2018 from 2:00 P M until service time at First Baptist Church of Counce, TN. Mr. Cass was born March 7, 1945 in Savannah, TN to Raymond Cass and Cora Lee Talley Cass. He passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at his residence in Counce, TN. He was an instrument mechanic for TN River Pulp & Paper Co for 40+ years. He graduated from Savannah Central High School in 1963 and and served his country in the U S Navy during the Vietnam War. Mike enjoyed playing golf and working on antique cars. He especially loved spending time with his family. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Fadra Cass of Counce, TN; his sons, Casey Roberts (Sharon) of Counce, TN, Brett Cass of Michie, TN and Brian Cass (Karen) of Holden, LA; his daughter, Cinda Meter (Garrett) of Counce, TN; 8 grandchildren, Todd Roberts, Bethanie White, Gage Roberts, Taylor Cass, Tanner Cass, Gavin Meter, Matthew Cass and Justin Cass; 1 great-grandson, Caden Godwin; his sister, Mary Rose of Ashland City, TN; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Cass; his mother, Cora Lee Talley Cass; his brothers, Lewis Cass and Danny Cass and his sister, Nancy Neill. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Michael "Mike" Cass.
