Maury Neal Briggs Sr.

A Celebration of Life Service for Maury Neal Briggs, Sr, 80 of Corinth, MS, will Sunday, July 2, 2023 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.  Bro. Mark Nail will officiate the service.  Visitation will be Sunday, July 2, 2023 from 12:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East.  Mr. Briggs passed away Friday, June 30, 2023 at his residence.  He was born April 14, 1943 in Corinth, MS to Edgar Shirley Briggs and Annie Kemp Briggs.  He was co-owner of Briggs, Inc and a member of Kossuth Methodist Church.  He enjoyed riding his tractor, raising and riding horses and anything to do with farm life.  He loved tinkering and fixing things and spending time with his grandchildren.  Maury is survived by his sons, Jordan Briggs (Kimberly), Marshall Briggs (Katherine) Clayton Briggs and Maury Briggs, Jr. (Dee Dee); his daughters, Teri Johnson (Michael) Weedoie Rorie (Stone), Tiffney Pinto (John), Patricia Ramey, Icie Briggs, Maurie Anne Briggs and Shyanna Briggs;  24 grandchildren; his brothers, Gary Briggs (Brenda) and Larry Briggs (Ruth Ann); several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, E.S. Briggs; his mother, Annie Kemp Briggs and his brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Jeanette Briggs.  Pallbearers will be Stone Rorie, Michael Johnson, Branson Rorie, Drake Rorie, Brandon Rorie and Tim Phillips.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Maury Neal Briggs, Sr.
