Matt Boyce Whittington

Matt Boyce Whittington passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010 in Biloxi, MS at the age of 69. He was born on October 18, 1940 to the late Henry Norwood & Robbie Lamastus Whittington. He was a retired mail clerk with 38 ½ years of service with the U.S. Postal Service in Memphis, TN (January 1961 – July 1999). He loved spending time with his family and friends especially his 2 grandsons. He enjoyed all sports but most of all the St. Louis Cardinals and his favorite all time athlete was Stan “The Man” Musial, The Ole Miss Rebels & The Duke Blue Devils Basketball team. He loved spending time with his many beloved dogs. He is survived by Two (2) sons Matt D. Whittington and wife Susan of Lakeland, TN and Brad Micheal Whittington of Collierville, TN. Two (2) grandchildren Joshua and Jordan Whittington of Lakeland, TN. He is welcomed to Heaven by Two (2) brothers Robert Lee Whittington and Herny Norwood Whittington Jr.; Two (2) sisters Ruth Morgan and Pauline Whittington.
