Funeral services for Mary Jo Trantham, 82 of Corinth, MS are set for Monday, July 31, 2023 at 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home - SOUTH on HWY 45 SOUTH with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, July 31, 2023 from 9am until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home - SOUTH. Bro. Chuck Hassell will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be the Waldron Street Christian Church Elders and Deacons. Born December 29, 1940 in Corinth, MS., Mary Jo passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023 at MS Care Center in Corinth. She is a retired Registered Nurse and a member of Waldron Street Chrisitan Church. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed reading, being outside and taking care of her dogs and cats. Mary Jo is survived by her husband, Thomas Trantham; sons, Ray Trantham and wife Pam and Tim Trantham and wife Pam; 4 grandchildren, Regina Kyrylova and husband Sasha, Rena Deroche and husband Derrel, Brock Conner and wife Rebecca and Dr. D. J. Conner; 8 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Tommy Ross; mother, Era Duncan Ross; and brother, Jerry Ross. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Partners in Missions or Hearts 4 Ukraine. Honors will be provided by Tri County Nurse Honor Guard. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Mary Jo Trantham.
