Mary Kennedy

A Celebration of Life Service for Mary Kennedy, 85, of Elkhorn, WI will be Friday, July 19, 2024 at 11 AM at Magnolia Funeral Home – South Chapel officiated by Bro. Merle Dixon. Interment will follow in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 5-8 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home - South. Mary was born in Corinth, MS and moved to Wisconsin after her marriage to Harold Kennedy. She lived in Wisconsin until 1996 after she retired from Abbott Laboratories in 1991. She lived in Booneville from 1996 until 2014 when she moved back to Wisconsin and has lived there until she passed away. Mary, known as Nana to her grandchildren, was very devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren, who all loved her dearly. The welfare of her family was always the utmost priority for her. Survivors include her son, Chris Kennedy (Heidi); four grandsons, Todd, Breck, Declan, and Corbin; two great granddaughters, Allison, and Saylor; her sister, Martha Gahagan; many nieces, nephews other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Kennedy; her son, Harold Wayne Kennedy; her daughter, Linda Peters; her parents, Earl and Ether Wilkins; her brother, William Wilkins; and her sisters, Ether Lene Barnes, and Wylodene Brown.
