Mary Faye Hill Powers, 65, of Corinth, MS passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. Funeral services are set for Friday, December 2, 2016 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow at Grissom Chapel Church Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Friday, December 2, 2016 from 12:00 noon until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Bro. Matthew Joshlin and Bro. Jason Pellizer will officiate the service. She was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a member of Mt. Zion Church. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Billy Powers of Corinth, MS; her sons, Joey Powers (Jessica) of Corinth, MS and Jason Powers (Melissa) of Corinth, MS; daughters, Kim Johnson of Corinth, MS, Darlene Powers Davis (Josh) of Corinth, MS, Jennifer Johnson (John) of Ethelsville, AL and Cyndi Sowell (Richie) of Corinth, MS; 22 grandchildren, Buford Johnson (Brandy), Scott Johnson (Krissy), Katie Watson(Drew), Meta Armstrong (Cody), Maegan Bormann, Keith Powers, Kayla Carter (Mark), Amber Powers, Sierra Meyer, Landon Powers, Destynee Powers, Sabrina Beeson (John), John A. Johnson IV, Jeremy Powers, Megan Allgood (Malachi), Christina Richardson (Aron) Colton Howell, Dakoda Howell, Madison Davis, Reed Davis, Weston Sowell and Emily Sowell; 11 great-grandchildren; her sister, Annie Mae Hicks (George) of Corinth, MS; other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Walter Hill; her mother, Mildred Bynum McCalister Grimes; her brother, Cecil Hill; and her sister, Linda Williams. Pallbearers will be Keith Powers, Landon Powers, Colton Howell, Dakoda Howell, John Johnson, Jeremy Powers, Buford Johnson, Scott Johnson, Reed Davis and Weston Sowell.
