Mary Cosette Hardin

A Celebration of Life service for Mary Cosette Hardin, 78 of Corinth, MS, will be Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 2:00 P M at Lakeview Baptist Church with interment to follow at Dogwood Cemetery. Bro. Chuck Clement and Bro. Charlie Martin will officiate the service. Visitation will be Friday, February 15, 2019 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 1:00 P M until service time at Lakeview Baptist Church. Mrs. Hardin passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born September 20, 1940 in Corinth, MS to Larry Essary and Ruby Borden Essary. Cosette was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. She loved watching Atlanta Braves baseball, shopping, cooking and taking care of everyone. She enjoyed singing and going to church. Cosette is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bro. James L. Hardin of Corinth, Ms; her son, John P. Hardin (Deborah) of Walnut, MS; her daughter, Cheryl Lynn Surer (Steven) of Clayton, NC; 5 grandchildren, Jake Hudson Hardin, Lydia Maxine Hardin, Erin Payne Hardin, Justin Alex Rickman and Veronica Hastings Surer; 2 great-grandchildren, Liem Alexander Rickman and Otto Michael Rickman; her brother, James Larry Essary (Norma) of Corinth, MS; her sisters, Jo Hindman (Wayne) of Starkville, MS and Judy Hughes (Ray) of Corinth, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Essary; her mother, Ruby Borden Essary; her brothers, Bobby Gene Essary and Martin Ray Essary and her sister, Joan Bullard. Pallbearers will be Jon Kohl and her nephews. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mary Cosette Hardin.
