Mary Ellon Franks

A Memorial Service for Mary Ellon Franks, 82 of Corinth, MS, will be held at a later date. Mrs. Franks passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at her residence in Corinth, MS. She was born March 1, 1938 in Alabama to Edward Wade Douglas and Callie Florence Phillips Douglas. She worked in the Printing Quality Department at Halls for many years. Mary is survived by her daughters, Vickie Essary and husband Randy of Corinth, MS and Nan Curtis of Corinth, MS; four grandchildren, SuzAnne Essary, Franks Curtis (Jessica), Matthew Essary and Mary Elizabeth Pounders (Garett); three great grandchildren, Callie Pounders, Ada Marie Curtis and Mary Kate Curtis; other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Ned Douglas; her mother, Callie Phillips Douglas and her son-in-law, Mickey Curtis.
