Funeral services for Mary Black Dixon, 93 of Corinth are set for Wednesday, November 25, at 2:00 pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - East Chapel with interment to follow at Tuscumbia Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 25, 2020, from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - East Chapel. Bro. Rodney Whittemore will officiate the service. Born March 25, 1927, in Paden, MS., Mary passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020, at her home. She was a retired assembly line worker for ITT with 17 years of service. Mary was of the Baptist faith and a member of Tuscumbia Baptist Church. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed sewing and working in her flower garden. Mary is survived by a son, Walter Dixon and wife Zadie of Ripley, MS; daughters, Geraldine Wilbanks of Corinth; Janie Horton and husband Stanley of Corinth; Linda Dixon of Corinth, MS; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister–in–law, Kay Black of Corinth; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, W.T. Dixon; sons, Harold Dixon and Jimmy Dixon; son-in-law, J.L. Wilbanks; parents, Alvie and Rosie Black; brothers, Rev. Lloyd Black, Edgar Black and wife Lois Keys, Vernon Black, and James Black; sisters, Essie White and husband Jesse, Zodie Dixon and husband Aaron, Tressie Trimm and Husband Clifford. Pallbearers will be Timmy Wilbanks, Michael Trimm, William Trimm, David Moss, Craig Wilbanks, and Phillip Rutherford. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Mary Black Dixon.
