Mary Francis Brooks, 68 of Corinth, MS passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. A Celebration of Life is set for Mrs. Brooks Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow at Danville Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 12:00 noon until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Bro. David Bledsoe will officiate the service. Survivors include her daughter, Chena Johnson and husband Daniel of Corinth, MS; her 4 grandchildren, Ashley Arnold and husband Danny of Corinth, MS, Nick Knight and wife Laken of Lafollette, TN, Tyler Davis and wife Destiny of Corinth, MS and Matthew Johnson of Corinth, MS; 3 great-grandchildren, Emma Grace Knight of Corinth, MS, Connor Isaiah Knight of Lafollette, TN and Rylee Ray Arnold of Corinth, MS; her brother, Joseph “Joe” Thrasher and wife Pat of Corinth, MS; her sisters, Martha Foust of Selmer, TN, Lila Jane Brooks of Rienzi, MS, Darnell Dildy and husband Benny of Corinth, MS, Peggy Nunez and husband Javainneza of Corinth, MS and Gladys Barnett and husband Tommy of Corinth, MS; her sisters-in-Law, Dorothy Baurkalder of Corinth, MS, Debbie Fulks of Corinth, MS and Vickie McSorley of Corinth, MS; brother-in-law, Billy Brooks of Rienzi, MS; 28 nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Wayne Murry Brooks; her son, Samuel Wade Brooks; 1 granddaughter, Crystal Dawn Davis; her father, Dalton Thrasher; her mother, Lela Mae Hastings Thrasher; her son-in-law, Jerry Dale Davis; her brothers, John Robert Thrasher, Bobby Dalton Thrasher and James Marcus Thrasher; and her sister, Annie Bell Thrasher. Pallbearers will be Tyler Davis, Adrian Dildy, Dewayne Dildy, Johnny Thrasher, Terry Foust and Jody Brooks. Magnolia Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Mrs. Mary Francis Brooks.
