Mary Jane Armstrong

Mary Jane Armstrong, 71, of Corinth passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at her residence after an extended sickness. The family will receive friends for at time of visitation Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and Friday, January 6, 2017 from 12:00 noon until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00pm Friday, January 6, 2017 at the funeral home with interment to follow in Snowdown Church of Christ Cemetery. Ann Cantrell and Bro. Warren Jones will officiate the service. Born October 22, 1945 in Marianna, AR, Mary grew up in a large family and was taught the value of hard work. She retired in 2015 from Timber Products working many years as a machine operator. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Dillard Armstrong; grandson, Hank Willis; father, Norman Odle; mother, Mellnee Stephens Sanford; parents-in-law, Warren and Lena Armstrong; brothers, Steve Odle, Glenn Stephens, Bobby Sanford; sister, Betty Conner. She is survived by her son, Russell Armstrong and wife Ladonna of Henderson, TN; daughter, Paula Willis of Corinth; five grandchildren, Heather Willis and husband Mat, James Armstrong, Donavon Willis and wife Kylie, Kayla Armstrong, Summer Armstrong; three great grandchildren, Mollie Willis, Landon Willis and Branson Armstrong; nine brothers, Wayne Odle, Norman Odle, David Odle, Marvin Odle, Joe Odle, Butch Sanford, Donald Sanford, Jerry Sanford, Dale Sanford; three sisters, Hazel Duer, Ann Cantrell, Sue Sanford; special friends, Ricky Willis, Kevin Robinson, Denise Armstrong; special caregivers, Christy Barton, Brenda Glidewell; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Donavan Willis, Ricky Willis, Jimmy Cantrell, Butch Sanford, Dale Sanford, Jerry Sanford and honorary pallbearer will be James Armstrong.
