Martha L. Young

A celebration of life for Martha Young, 83, of Corinth, MS is scheduled for 4:00 PM Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Magnolia Funeral Home – East with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens. Bro. Warren Jones will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Born December 6, 1938 in Rienzi, MS to the late Clyde Stacy and Annie Lou Bonds Elder, Martha passed away at her residence Thursday, July 14, 2022. Martha was of the Baptist faith and a member of Oakland Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and her grandchildren and loved her work family at ACE. Those left to honor Martha’s memory include her son, Rory Young; daughter, Kay Hunt (Eddie); grandchildren, Courtney Young, Rory D. Young II (Bethany M.), Casey Evans (Doc), and Trace Hunt; great grandchildren, Griffin Young, and Jaxson Evans; nephew, Dustin Stacy (Susan) and son Tory Stacy; other relatives and a host of friends. in addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy G. “Bill” Young; brothers, Roy C. Stacy and Norvell Gene Stacy and daughter-in-law, Kaffie Young. Pallbearers include Keith Hamm, Tory Stacy, Tyler Hamm, and Rickey Brock. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Martha Young.
