A Celebration of Life service for Martha Marie McEwen, 91 of Glen is set for Monday, January 15, 2018 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Tishomingo County, MS. Visitation will be Monday, January 15, 2018 from 11am until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Martha was born June 28, 1926 in Tishomingo County and was a homemaker. She is survived by her son, Brodie McEwen (Dimple) of Glen, MS ; daughter, Tracy Johnson (Jimmy Bain) of Glen, MS ; daughter-in-law, Dean McEwen of Corinth; 16 grandchildren, Penny Knobbe (Bruce), Amy McCleary (Tim), Terri South (Mark), Jay Lambert (Shannon), Jeri “Shelly” Vanderford (Tom), Audrey Kyle (Anthony), Wade Cornelius (Jennifer), Lana McEwen (Will), Maja Headrick (Randy), Charla Marshall (Bryan), Heather Arnold (Martin), Jodie Fiveash (Justin) Stewart McEwen (Melisa), Hannah Jones (Jeremy), Jerrod Johnson and Jayme Johnson; grandson- in-law, Rodney Butler; 31 great grandchildren ; 4 great, great grandchildren; brother, David Jernigan (Shirley) of Selmer, TN; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years: T. R. “ Buster” McEwen; son: Jerry McEwen; daughters: Nella Lambert (Mike) and Wanda Strickland (Harris); granddaughter: Jorja Butler; father: Marvin Jernigan; mother: Nellie Jernigan; brothers: James Jernigan and Donnie Berlin and her sisters: Ruby Parham, Lavera Strickland and Mandy Mitchell. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Charles Vaughn and Robert Johnson will officiate the service. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Martha Marie McEwen.
