She was a Physical Therapist and served as Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation for the past 15 years. She also held a Certification in Wound Care. She was a graduate of Mississippi State University with a Masters Degree in Health Promotion. Church Affiliation: She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Wheeler Grove Baptist Church. Organizations: She was a member of the American Physical Therapy Association; Secretary for the MS Physical Therapy Association; Lifetime member of the Junior Auxiliary; a member of M&M Relay for Life Team; a two time participant in the Susan G. Komen three day sixty mile walk. She volunteered countless hours in speaking at various Ladies Meetings on behalf of Breast Cancer Awareness. She was a avid Kossuth Aggie Fan and Supporter of her husband's basketball, baseball, and cross-country teams. She especially enjoyed going to both of her son’s sporting events.
