Funeral services for Marilyn Faye Holt are set for Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 2:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, December 31, 2016 from 11:00am until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mrs. Holt passed away Friday, December 30, 2016 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. She was a retired minister and a member of First Assembly of God Church. Marilyn is survived by her son, Joel Holt and wife Kim of Walnut; daughter, Cindy Merryman and husband Joe of Walnut; 7 grandchildren, Joseph Holt, Dustin Wilbanks, Adam Wilbanks, Josie Merryman, Scott Merryman, Becky Jarrett and Leann Merryman; brother, David Roberts of Daphne, AL; sisters, Shirley Mask and husband Charles of Corinth, Ruth Hurst of Chattanooga, TN and Mary Ann Reed of Birmingham, AL; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Benny Ray Holt; father, Ed Roberts and mother, Geraldine Roberts. Pastor Jacob Dawson will officiate the service .
