A private family service for Margie A. Brooks, 88 of Corinth is set for Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment in Corinth National Cemetery. Born August 8, 1931 in Alcorn County, MS., Margie passed from this life on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at her home in Corinth. She was a retired Pro Ration/Production clerk for Texaco Oil and Production Company. Margie was of the Baptist faith and a member of Kossuth Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Ronnie D. Brooks (Patsy) of Arnaudville, LA; daughter, Lynne Burton (Allan) of Corinth, MS; 5 grandchildren, Dusty Brooks, Ashley Ribardi (Aaron), Jodie Lynne Matthews (Paul), Justin Burton (Emily) and Jeff Burton (Katherine Jones); 15 great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends. Margie is preceded in death by her husband, Billy J. Brooks; father, Willie Leonard Bradley; mother, Beatrice Wooten Bradley; brothers, James W. Bradley, Willie B. Bradley, and R. D. Bradley; sisters, Nellen Armstrong Fullwood and Leatrice McAnally Wiggington. Her great-grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Aaron Ribardi, Bro. Donald Sculley and Bro. Keith Fields will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Gideons or Kossuth Baptist Church.
