A Celebration of Life service for Margaret Evelyn Nix, 95 of Adamsville, TN, will be Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home-East Chapel with interment to follow at Stantonville, Cemetery in Stantonveille, TN. Bro. Brian Gass will officiate the service. Mrs. Nix passed away Monday, October 5, 2020 at Adamsville Health and Rehab. She was born October 25, 1924 in New Albany, MS to Lum Egbert Young and Verdie Mae Welch Young. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, holiday gatherings and reading her Bible. She loved quilting, watching Fox News while reading novels and definitely playing cards. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Nancy C. Williams and husband Gerald of Stantonville, TN; 6 grandsons, Brian Gass (Lisa) of Murfreesboro, TN, Mike Gass (Brandy) of Leander, TX, Chris Gass (Amanda) of Corinth, MS, Danny Kerley (Kim) of Houston, TX and Wayne Williams of Olive Branch, MS; 1 granddaughter, Carey Marshall (Mickey) of Hernando, MS; 16 great grandchildren, Joshua and Samantha Gass, Rachel and Daniel Messick, Timothy Gass, Joseph and Marie Gass, Mary Gass, Benjamin Gass, Nick Williams, Madison Marshall, Cannon Marshall, Kaitlyn Gass, Hailey Gass, Alaina Gass, Jeremiah Gass, Braydee Faith Gass, Jase Kerley and Emily Kerley; 4 great great-grandchildren, Elijah Gass, Annabelle Gass, Amberle Gass and Evelyn Gass; her sister, Laverne Jordan (Bob) of Butte, Montana; other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by 2 great grandchildren, Samuel Gass and Jonathan Gass; her father, Lum Egbert Young; her mother, Verdie Mae Welch Young; her brothers, James Young and Carl Young and her sisters, Ruth Young and Laura Howard. Pallbearers will be Brian Gass, Mike Gass, Matthew Gass and Danny Kerley.
