Funeral services for Margaret L. Dixon are set for Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST with interment in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 9:30am -11am at Magnolia Funeral Home- EAST. Bro. Cory Porterfield and Bro. Gary Porterfield will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Larry Joe Mullins, Travis Brunner, Zach Dixon, David Kenner, Nathaniel Brunner and Chase Kenner. Born March 5, 1945 in Springfield, IL., Mrs. Dixon passed from this life on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at her home in Walnut. She was a retired factory worker. She was a member of Jesus Name Community Church. Margaret loved her family and spending time with them. She enjoyed watching all the older TV programs, taking care of her dog, Pebbles until she passed away and working on her yard. She loved God and going to church. Margaret is survived by her sons, Patrick Dixon (Sherry), Robert Brunner (Barb), Gary Dixon (Michelle) and Jimmy Dixon; 11 grandchildren, Bryon Dixon (Amy), Lance Dixon, Michael Dixon (Caylee), Brooke Kenner (David), Travis Brunner (Jenea), Brandon Wilbanks (Kaylee), Ashley Wilbanks (L.R.), Crystal Hopkins (Nathan), Zachary Dixon, Mercedes Vandygriff (Dewayne) and Kaylee Dixon ; 18 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law; Tammy Dixon; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, David Paul Dixon; son, David Dixon; grandson, Kevin Dixon; 1 great grandchild; father, Hobert Scoggins; mother, Elsie Scoggins; brothers, Billy Scoggins and Patrick Scoggins and her sister, Francis Malone.
